Two incredible sniff-tastic activities that build confidence, burn energy, and tap into your dog’s natural superpower. These scent-based activities give your dog a powerful mental workout, build confidence, reduce stress, and strengthen the bond between you and your pooch. Whether you want a future sport competitor or just a happy dog who loves a good sniffari, we’ve got the perfect class for you.

Scent Detection(SD)

Ready to turn your dog into a canine crime-scene investigator? Our Sport Scent Detection Classes teach your pup how to identify specific target odours, search with purpose and precision, and build the foundation needed for competition trials like SDDA, CKC, CDSA and other scent competitions.

Your dog will learn:
• Odour recognition (wintergreen, pine, thyme, etc.)
• Search patterns, indication skills, and problem-solving
• Identification skills (nose freezes)
• Confidence working on and off-leash
• Real trial-style setups so you know exactly what to expect

Whether you want to compete or just give your dog the best brain workout ever, this class is a hit for dogs of all ages. No prior experience required. Just bring your dog, your treats, and your future scent champion awaits.

Level 1 includes:

• Starter scent pod with odours
• Hot box for practice at home
• Weekly homework handouts
• Access to the Easy Breezy Online Academy with videos and resources

By the end of Level 1, your dog will recognize odour, show early indication behaviours, and confidently work through beginner container and interior searches. The perfect start for future competitors or enrichment-loving sniffers.

K9 Nosework (NW)

Perfect for dogs who love to sniff (so… every dog ever). K9 Nosework® is a fun, confidence-boosting scent game that taps into your dog’s natural hunting instincts. It’s ideal for nervous dogs, high-energy dogs, seniors, puppies, dogs who need a job, or any dog who loves using their sniffer.

Your dog will learn:
• How to hunt for food paired with scent hidden in boxes, rooms, vehicles and outdoor areas
•How to trust their own nose, think through scent puzzles, and problem-solve without needing constant guidance
• Confidence in new spaces
• A safe, low-pressure activity that’s mentally enriching

This class follows the official K9 Nosework® philosophy: one dog working at a time, quiet environment, zero pressure, all fun. Think of it as yoga… but for your dog’s nose.

Owner & Head Trainer, Kyla Denault, has completed Part One of her official NACSW™ Certification and will be finalizing the full certification in May, ensuring your dog learns using the most current, science-backed K9 Nosework® methods.
